God Bless...

...the home of the gangster. With God at the helm and flanked by Phineas and Ferb, Xavier is an ambassador for peace.

This picture was taken in January of this year, a few days after Emerson was born. Dressed in one of daddy's bandanas, 3 1/2 year-old Xavier is instructing us on the finer points of love and peace symbols. Thaus was able to catch one of X's gestures while I stood in awe over his newly acquired skill. I am impressed that any time an opportunity arises to seize leadership, X is the first to stand at the forefront...or at least the first to jump on top of the bed. In fact, just today after reciting his lines for the Sunday School Primary Program, X told his dad that the members of the Bishopric are friends of Jesus and he, too, wants to be a leader for Jesus. X definitely is a great example to us all and we certainly appreciate his dedication to sharing the gospel. Whether it is in a suit and tie for church or relaxin' after school in his Levis, our little gangster is an east side messenger for all that is good in life. Peace out!
