American History Revisited

I am an old soul. Sentimental, nostalgic, sappy-sweet. I can't help it. Almost everything I see, hear, or smell reminds me of something from the past. I wish I could explain what triggers the synapses in my brain to respond to everything old-school, but I am at a loss.
At any rate, I was watching Xavier play in Thaus' office last Sunday evening. Xavier crawled into a compartment in Thaus' desk and opened the door with a big grin on his face. I was instantly reminded of a photo taken in 1963 of JFK Jr. playing in the Resolute desk in the Oval Office. Fortunately, my phone was close by so I could capture the moment.
