Momma's Little Helper

Xavier loves to help around the house. No matter what is occurring at any given moment, you can always count on him to be a "helper". I love that about my sweet little boy, even though it does make for double the work sometimes.
Last Thursday, Thaus and I fostered a great opportunity to teach Cam about family work. What began as an experience in drudgery (amidst all the whining and complaining), ended up being a sheer joy thanks to the 2 1/2 feet of comic relief we have running around. X found my long painting pole and decided that it would make an excellent mop. Without any direction, he dumped it in the bucket and began "mopping" the floor. He was quite pleased with himself as we cheered his diligent effort. What a stud!
