Waiting Room. First check...so far so good.

Waiting Room. Second check...fought the liquid Tylenol but rebounded quickly.

Patient Room. Third check...you can't see (or hear) the screaming, but Thaus' sweatshirt is soaked from tears and slobber.

Patient Room. Final check...suckers make everything better...even the trauma of a needle. Both Daddy and X came out unscathed...I am not so sure about the nurse, however.
Eighteen month stats: Xavier grew 2 1/2 inches and gained zero pounds! Maybe someday X will break that 20 pound barrier. This goal will require him to intake actual food (I don't think lotion and hand sanitizer count), but we set our sights high in the Amonett house!
When we came home from running our errands, Xavier quickly reassured us that he was not permanently traumatized by the events of the day; he drug a mop bucket into the kitchen, climbed inside, pulled out my funnels, and showed us uses for them we never thought possible. He definitely keeps life interesting!

D says to tell X that 20 pounds is WAAAAAY overrated.
I love that little man. He can stay tiny so I can snuggle his guts out.
So adorable! My kids used shots last week as an excuse to skip violin since their arms were too sore. Worked for me as that was a busy day and one less thing to do.
Hey babe! Finally made it to your blog. LOVELY, of course. You and Angie are amazing. Totally loved hearing the play-by-play of lil man X goes to the doctor. You iz a real clever girl! Way fun. Love you to infinity and beyond, AJ
