For a thirty-seven year old pursuing a degree in education, the art of balancing course requisites, work and family life requires a Herculean effort in time management. The demands of meeting deadlines are overwhelming, challenging, and at times adrenaline-inspiring, yet for a three-year old college student, it is just plain exhausting.

Each evening when Thaus settles in to work on an assignment, Xavier snuggles up next to him with his own VTech laptop. When I tell him it is time for bed, he announces to me authoritatively, "I gotta do my homeworks, Mom." Whether studying for a state exam or mastering difficult concepts, I love that Xavier aspires to accomplish great things just like his daddy.

Thaus is a great example to his boys! :)
That is so precious. Working hard already.
